[00:00:00] If I was making $10 million a year and my wife was making $100,000, that wouldn't bug me at all. But if I was not able to provide and she was paying all the bills, I think that would seriously bug me because that wouldn't make me feel like a man.
[00:00:15] That would make me feel like...that would never happen. Yeah, no. There's a lot of stuff that you've said online where I would never guess your age.
[00:00:31] And I'm like, guys that are in their 30s and 40s need to hear what the fuck you're saying. That's how I feel. It seems normal to me and I choose...and it's also normal to all my guy friends.
[00:00:45] Like I think I've met a lot of guys both my age and older that are very successful but they're also very immature for their age and that's a red flag. No, I think so too. You seem very values oriented. Yeah, I think so at least.
[00:01:02] Yeah, every time I hear you share a perspective, I'm like, that is bars. That's what I feel like when I listen to your stuff.
[00:01:12] Like I was listening to something the other day about guys who go out with an expectation of an outcome from a girl and it's like why are you even going out like that? I used to do that and I think it's a validation thing.
[00:01:26] I don't know, I feel like I try and...I always want to learn. I wish I studied psychology in college. I didn't learn anything in college. I was in the business school. I wish I went to business school.
[00:01:38] Yeah, but I went to U of A and they call it Harvard or the West because you need a pulse to get in there and that's about it. It's like a joke. But I wish I studied psychology. I think it's really interesting.
[00:01:48] Yeah, I think when you're going out and you have the expectation of bringing someone home, whether you're a guy or a girl, it goes both ways. I think a lot of the times my content is about guys stuff.
[00:02:02] And I think I'll say it from a guy's perspective and a girl might hear it and get pissed off. You know what I mean? I've actually never gotten pissed off from your content.
[00:02:10] So let me give you an example. I'm kind of jumping in a thousand different areas right now. Feel free to ask me anything from a girl's perspective because I have really different takes too. Okay, cool. I always want to be challenged.
[00:02:21] So the other day I posted a video and I said all of my guy friends are putting their head down, grinding right now. At least the one's my age in this young 20s area. They're grinding right now and they're kind of putting girls aside because it's really distracting.
[00:02:41] It goes the same way for girls with guys. It's really distracting at least thousands and thousands of years of evolution. You're wired to only want to reproduce, right? So especially at a young age like this, that's the only thing you're thinking of.
[00:02:57] Most young guys are only thinking of that but most of my guy friends are kind of putting that aside. Because they're just like, I'm just going to build my, I like to call it build my castle in these early years.
[00:03:09] And I made one video about that and I didn't even say anything bad about the girls. I just said like, I don't know that many girls doing that too. And it's the truth because I'm not friends with that many girls.
[00:03:20] But I think that perspective came off the wrong way. Okay well one, I think we're going to be friends. So you can have a platonic girlfriend. Two, I think you're right in a way.
[00:03:34] I think a lot of girls are pushed towards, look you need to get married by a certain age. Have a kid by a certain age. If you don't prioritize that then you lose the window. The window it's over and then you can focus on the career stuff later.
[00:03:50] Not everyone gets that message. Some girls get that message. The other message that girls get which I think is too much is you can do it all. Nobody tells them that. Nobody goes to a guy and be like, you can do it all.
[00:04:02] You can be a nurturing father who's super present but is also working on your body and into fitness. And then also you're a super entrepreneur who's out there and you're also speaking at conferences and you're also traveling. There's no do it all. Everything's like a sacrifice of one.
[00:04:16] Yeah I agree with you, I don't think you can do it all. But that's why... And it's interesting because I had a friend of mine who's like a young men's dating coach on my podcast. Interesting.
[00:04:30] He's got a different perspective and he was like young guys need to be dating as much as possible because that's going to like exponentially help you out in every other area of your life.
[00:04:42] But my perspective was like I want to personally, I want to be the father that's very, very present and I want to be a young father. Like I want to start having kids at like late 20s and be around and have like six kids
[00:04:56] and play all the games and that takes a lot of time. And I'm going to need it and I want to be like very successful by then. There's just no way to make that happen unless I'm like sacrificing a bit of fun right now.
[00:05:08] I love the like vision that you have for yourself. I think it's very like mature level headed. When the dating coach says you should be dating as many girls as possible I just hope that doesn't mean you should be sleeping with as many girls as possible.
[00:05:20] No, no this guy... This guy is like the opposite of that. Meeting as many people like just strictly dates, not sleeping around. He went on he went on 54... Oh I saw that. He went on 54 first dates with 54 different girls and it was in the period of a year
[00:05:42] but he had a little mini relationship in there too so it was more like 39 weeks I think he said. Okay so here's the other thing I will say like when you look at that vision of yourself
[00:05:51] as that kind of father and hopefully a like present husband and all that you have to be able to relate to your wife and you have to have good conflict resolution skills.
[00:06:02] You have to know when and how to compromise, what to pay attention to in terms of her needs, how to express your own. I mean there's so many skills that come with being a good husband
[00:06:15] and all we hear about is this term like provider you know what I mean? Like oh the man needs to provide and protect and blah blah blah and so there's all these buzzwords that we're hearing and we're not thinking of the real things that preserve relationships.
[00:06:31] So I don't know if it's you need to go on as many first dates as possible or just building your social skills in general because I think you can even build relationship skills with your friends. You know what I mean?
[00:06:46] But I see what you're saying though and I do think like dating is because what this guy was saying is if you completely put off dating to make your money or whatever you know build your castle once again
[00:07:00] and then you have no dating experience like then you have the money but then you're really lacking in another really important area of your life. Do you feel like that's what you're doing?
[00:07:11] No because I'm still, I mean to be honest I think I'm probably behind like most guys dating. Behind? Like dating experience wise because I'm really picky. Like I feel like some of my guy friends have probably been in
[00:07:28] I don't know like probably four or five long term relationships. Okay. I've been in like one. Yeah but don't put yourself in. It was pretty short honestly. It was pretty short but then it ended badly so then I was just like you know
[00:07:42] I like put that aside for a little bit. Focus on some other stuff. How did it end badly? I got cheated on. Oh you got cheated on? Yeah but it was like a minor getting cheated on. Okay. It wasn't like an affair type situation.
[00:07:54] It was like college relationship, lots of messing around happens in college. Not that serious. Okay. And it was for the best anyway. But it hurt your feelings. Super bad. I was so down bad. For how long? So long.
[00:08:09] Like and I think it wasn't even about like the fact that I it wasn't even like the loss of that person. I think it was more of an ego thing to be honest. Like how could she do that to me?
[00:08:22] Yeah I think I had a super high ego like I looking back I can reflect on this now in the moment I didn't understand it but yeah it was like I felt like the king
[00:08:33] I mean this is gonna sound ridiculous but in my own little bubble I kind of was like the man was like president of the top fraternity at a huge party school and bleached Mohawk. Oh whoa. Like I was like king douchebag and I like genuinely felt untouchable
[00:08:52] and like nothing could once again sounds ridiculous right? But when you're in that environment it's like you know that's all that matters. I felt like the man and then I got you know I had like this girl that I was super into
[00:09:07] and that was kind of like my like queen in that situation I got cheated on and that was like oh my god I'm not bulletproof. And I think and this was I think it was really valuable because I think
[00:09:20] I thought my like status as a person was what would make you bulletproof in a relationship but in reality kind of touching back on that previous conversation you can have like the fame, the money, the power.
[00:09:39] You can be like the most desirable person in the eyes of everyone else but if you're not giving your partner the proper amount of attention and care and respect then you're not bulletproof right? Like anything could happen. So does that make sense? Yeah it totally makes sense.
[00:09:53] Like I definitely wasn't like a very present boyfriend. So did you have a conversation with her about this? Yeah I think afterwards I was like I think I tried to like even fix it after
[00:10:05] and she was like I mean we barely even hung out anyway like you're always busy. So you know I don't think that excuses anything but I definitely wasn't like the the most present partner. The most present partner yeah for sure so that was a good lesson honestly.
[00:10:22] Yeah for sure and I do relate to like feeling like you're the man and bulletproof and whatever when I was 17 right before I went to USC and like I thought it was like okay looking but I got a nose job and then I looked way better
[00:10:39] and then I got way more attention and I thought that and I think it affected a lot of my friendships because I would always talk about like oh you know this guy's hitting me up or what and then I realized
[00:10:50] like my friends were just so annoyed with me that I kept talking about that or thinking that that meant something and yeah I just think I think it's important to like check your ego. For sure and it was something I needed definitely.
[00:11:04] I learned a lot from it and also I gave me like incredible motivation too. I feel like sometimes. Isn't it crazy how when you get hit and you're at rock bottom something just happens to you and you're just like nah I'm gonna do this.
[00:11:19] Yeah 100% I like to tell people I like to make videos about this all the time I think I mean it's way too overused but when you are like way at the bottom there's nowhere else to go but up and I like to tell myself if something
[00:11:32] if I'm really going through some shit whether it's relationships, friendships, business I always tell myself like something really good is about to happen. I don't know when it is but it's gonna I don't know when it's gonna happen but it's gonna happen. That's a good perspective to have.
[00:11:47] And that keeps me going for sure. Okay yeah I love that so you have this brand Squid House. When did you start it? My cousin and I started it end of junior year of college for me. Okay and what was the motivation behind it?
[00:12:05] Well I mean I've always started little businesses here and there right nothing was like ever super successful lots of failures lots of lessons and this one part of me was like I want to build a really big company
[00:12:19] like the goal with it is obviously to turn it into the next newer cooler Lululemon or Viori or Aloe right that's the end goal but at the time it was just kind of I wanted to make a cool pair of workout shorts for myself and then
[00:12:36] I hit up all my friends I was like do you guys like these they like them and then started making content at the same time to like talk about that that that that startup phase you know yeah I figured like everybody else makes
[00:12:51] content after you sell your business or you know or you grow your business to a huge point and then you start making your content or then you write your book or then the movies made about you I was like why doesn't anyone
[00:13:04] talk about the beginning yeah that's the hardest part is like starting Gary V I feel like was doing content like that as he was on the way yeah but he's a little older though yeah so I wanted to show what it's like you know for like a
[00:13:17] young what was I 20 at the time I wanted to show what it was like for like a 20 year old guy starting a business in college and like just show what my experience was like and be super vulnerable and transparent about
[00:13:30] everything so I'll make videos saying if we had like a big win like the business just did this much this month because we made this change everyone in the comments will be like your cockies fuck but then in the next video it'll be
[00:13:42] like this is how we made the biggest decision the biggest dumb ass decision ever and this is what it cost us so I try and give like the full picture you know and I don't really care about whatever the comments are but I think
[00:13:58] that's valuable I think a lot of people find it valuable and then other people who've never started a business or don't care at all then they they hate but that's just like social media for sure yeah if you're on social media saying
[00:14:09] anything they're just gonna be people in the comments do you ever get hate I feel like you're you and your content be hard to really hate on yeah I know what I saw no I do I definitely get get hate in different ways but
[00:14:23] also I move around from platforms so when I was like big in crypto and NFTs is that how you got your start by the way I was gonna ask like what's what's your backstory okay so okay when I was around your age I was doing red carpet
[00:14:39] reporting for Hollywood reporter so I was like at the Golden Globes at the Oscars interviewing celebrities and I thought it looked really cool you know what I mean it just looked really cool and it was fun being there and
[00:14:50] you're around I'm sure it sounded cool to to your friends yeah it sounded cool it sounded cool to everybody and then I sort of realized that like when you're at those events you can only talk about subjects that are within the
[00:15:05] parameters of whatever event is happening so like if you're at the Oscars you can only ask about like what is it like to work with so-and-so on this movie or like who do you think's gonna win or whatever and when I would
[00:15:16] ask like a personal question publicist would always like grab my arm and be like hey we're not talking about that and so I realized after a while a few years of doing this like this isn't fun for me like I maybe I can't get a
[00:15:31] Lister's on my own but I can get people that are like on the come up everyone's flattered when you ask them for an interview you know so I started interviewing other people and one of the people that I that I
[00:15:43] interviewed that really helped me was Andrew Schultz so he's like a big comedian now yeah and so before he was famous before he was anything how did you find him he was online his I had seen his videos someone like sent me a
[00:16:01] clip and I thought to myself like this guy's gonna make it for sure you know and so I just hit him up asked him for an interview and he was like nobody's ever ever like written about me before and I'm like really how long ago is this
[00:16:17] by the way maybe five years five years yeah and at the time he was one of the only comedians that was posting clips of his comedy comedians don't post because at the time they didn't post because they didn't want other
[00:16:30] comedians to steal their jokes yeah so so I did an article on him and he was like this is amazing and he posted it and he tagged me and my brand and then after a while I realized like he had a lot of really smart he's very
[00:16:49] intelligent he's not just like a comedian with good comedic timing he is very with it he knows what's going on in the world he knows what's what's going on in terms of current events foreign affairs a lot of times
[00:17:01] like he's just with it and so he would say things and I'm like hey can I turn this into like a branded quote image with your face and I showed it to him
[00:17:13] and he's like yeah for sure and I was and I was like would you mind posting it on your page and then tagging us he's like not at all and so he would do that and then other people he was getting bigger and other people would
[00:17:26] discover us through him posting that that's one example and then and then I just started interviewing other people that were really big in their fields and one thing that I realized at the time was I did like interviewing
[00:17:39] authors because they knew their talking points and they just had so much to say that was so insightful and so I went that route for a little bit I got big on clubhouse I met Naval Rob account who became a friend of mine and
[00:17:52] then he started speaking at my events and then everyone else gave me the time of day because they're like oh this guy's the goat yeah like if he's talking at her events who is she and so that's great because you're helping
[00:18:02] like these little guys and then they're helping you when they start to get bigger I think that's the perfect as the perfect example of like positive collaboration which I unfortunately think it's pretty bare here
[00:18:13] in LA yeah and being early yeah like it is so valuable to be early on someone mm-hmm I feel like on social media there's a little bit of like a clout chasey vibe and I get it because by the way clout helps yeah like if I were to
[00:18:29] interview Kanye West for example that would be like huge for me or like we watched Bobby altoff get big I don't know where to or maybe maybe you saw because she was interviewing because she was interviewing rappers but how did it
[00:18:46] start for her I don't know I mean there was that rumor that like she was an industry plant or whatever but at the end of the day I really just think someone gave her agreed to do an interview with her I don't know how she
[00:18:58] got the contact she had been making content for a while by the way really yeah that's what's always interesting is it always looks like a quick I don't know if you saw my video on Matt right the other day but when Matt right
[00:19:08] popped up out of nowhere I was like it's easy to I saw that video yeah it's easy to look at him be like a good looking dude like yeah you know he was made to be famous or whatever and then he realized he was a you know
[00:19:18] D-list comedian for nine years whatever it was oh yeah everyone's been doing it way longer than you imagine oh yeah and then all of a sudden like something changes so when I when I met Andrew I just remember him vividly at the
[00:19:31] improv pacing back and forth just trying to make sure he had everything down and when I interviewed him he's like nobody wanted my special Netflix rejected me HBO rejected me comedy central rejected me every single
[00:19:46] network passed on him and now he's killing it I mean he did Madison Square Garden he's done everything that's dope I love stories like that I don't watch him too much but I want to go do you is your do you have a podcast with
[00:19:59] him no but I'll get that at least I found people who are super bullish on themselves and don't pay attention to the comments those people always win those people always was just about our time it is like I feel like anything
[00:20:14] works if you just do it for long enough and you're adaptable or whatever you'd want to call it if you could just if you're someone that's like delusional enough to think that it can't work that it can't not work out then it will
[00:20:26] yeah that's my opinion and also you can't be afraid to be cringe you can't be afraid to be hated you can't be afraid to yeah to be disliked by your peers or you can't be afraid that like you know so-and-so from high school
[00:20:43] is gonna unfollow you like these people are not paying your bills yeah we are not in high school anymore I'm still trying to like I'm still trying to perfect that myself the other day I was making a video and it was about it
[00:20:58] was about someone that like kind of screwed me over I didn't say any names obviously smart but I knew if that person had seen it that was like the end like that that's a bridge burned but they screwed me over anyway how did
[00:21:11] they screw you over I was trying to remember exactly what the situation was I think it was um oh it was like a friend that screwed me over in business a long time ago and and I had kind of like held the story off
[00:21:24] because like I was still friends with them but then I realized like I haven't seen this person in years and I probably won't see them again if I do now it's for sure gonna be awkward but like it's a it was a great lesson I
[00:21:36] forget exactly what the context of the video was what was the lesson the lesson was like make sure your contracts are all signed and everything that's true because I think it's easy to trust your number one don't do business
[00:21:49] with anyone regardless of what your relationship is prior if they won't be a good partner right I partnered with a lot of people because they were friends oh you like this I like this like let's let's do it together right that you
[00:22:02] have to you guys both need to be invaluable I think the perfect partnerships are when you if you died your business wouldn't survive like you guys are both invaluable to the operation okay in some in some way yeah or else
[00:22:20] you're gonna constantly feel like why does this person have 50% you know what I mean yeah and it's just like like merit no marriage is 5050 perfectly I love that someone said that the other day some quote I heard like no marriage is ever
[00:22:32] 5050 it's not supposed to be 5050 sometimes it's 9010 sometimes it's 7030 it'll switch on a daily basis sometimes one person needs the other person to pick up 80% yeah exactly yeah so kind of going off on a tangent here but
[00:22:46] yeah I mean I agree with what you're saying like you can't be afraid to you do you just need to say everything that's on your mind and then if it's relatable it'll hit yeah a thousand percent maybe not everything that's on everyone's mind
[00:23:01] but I pretty I mean I make a lot of I say everything I'm but open book like but you're like a good person you know I mean so I don't know yeah I agree
[00:23:13] if your intentions are good say whatever you want but you know yeah so see a sociopaths know to mask themselves yeah I've ran into a lot of those too sometimes they seem like sometimes they seem like the most charismatic kind good
[00:23:31] people at first and then slowly oh my god I have met people a lot from the internet because I'm so into like personality and conversation I've met people that are super charismatic and then as you get to know them you see all of these
[00:23:48] flaws and then you realize that their personal life is in shambles and and just because someone is charismatic and upbeat and well liked by the masses says nothing about how they are an interpersonal relationships and that's
[00:24:01] something that I had to learn over time what's it what's like a tell a telltale sign that what that something that you what's like a rule that you hold to yourself that it could be like like cheating for example right if
[00:24:15] someone that's my thing is if I'm doesn't matter if they're a business partner if they're a friend or I'm saying if they were if they were a business partner or a friend or a work colleague like if I find out someone's
[00:24:29] like a serial cheater like on their girl yeah or a girl on a guy like I it doesn't matter how good you are at any other like you don't want to work with them yeah because I look at that I think everything translates over to
[00:24:42] everything else in your life yeah I think integrity is like a one whole view and it doesn't it's not just like integrity in business integrity in your friendships integrity in your relationships I think it's it covers
[00:24:54] everything right once again good person or not right and I think everyone has it you can't really say good person or not because it's how do you measure it I have my answer for you yeah what what do you think so I look for someone
[00:25:09] who is self-correcting if someone doesn't have an anchor whether it's religion or just some kind of code that they abide by and they're not they're not introspective and reassessing themselves I just that type of person
[00:25:31] blame you for everything yeah that type of person will always blame you for everything whether it's in your personal relationship so people you date or it's in your business relationships it is so hard to work with someone who will not
[00:25:45] take personal responsibility it's more than just being self aware everyone's like well you need to be self aware some people know what the fuck is up and they just they're still blaming everything on you yeah and how can you
[00:25:56] grow as a person for that one thing that I like to I made a video on this the day that did I was glad it got the right response but I think especially for a lot of guys saying I was wrong admitting guilt admitting fault it's
[00:26:11] looked at as like weak you know what I mean so hot by the way I think so hot by the way I so I was literally all exposed myself a little bit I I I flew
[00:26:22] to hang out with this girl the other day there's our first time hanging out I think I met her off dating out yeah I met her off right you hit it off she was really cool I had we were like talking nonstop for
[00:26:35] like four days straight right and I don't even probably like nine hours over FaceTime over like three or four days really yeah it's crazy I didn't talk to anyone that much in like wow literally years and just agreeing on like
[00:26:49] everything super serious deep conversations and then I was like hey I'm literally traveling for work like every single weekend for the next two months but I have nothing going on this weekend I was like do you want to hang
[00:27:00] out and she said yeah so I flew out there to see her and I think there was some fault on both sides but it went from like the most amazing weekend ever to like disaster very quickly wow and I think a couple
[00:27:16] things I think I mean I don't want to like you're not naming names I'm not naming names but I don't want to like I mean I definitely take some fault myself but there I think it goes I think we both had the highest expectations for
[00:27:30] each other yeah she thought I was Prince Charming coming to stay with her for a couple days right potentially her husband father-ever-kids I thought the same thing and and I think that's because we were trying so hard to be
[00:27:44] like perfect over FaceTime right to like you feel that vibe where it's did you feel like super polished when you were talking like what gave you that impression? It felt very natural over FaceTime or whatever but we get there and I
[00:27:55] think we were both you can only like compliment someone so many you can only give so many like unique compliments you can only you can only tell so many like great stories once right and for me I felt like whenever I was talking
[00:28:08] like she wasn't really listening personally so then I kind of stopped I kind of stopped listening myself I was listening to what she was saying but I wasn't hearing her so like she would be telling me a story or telling me about
[00:28:25] something she really cared about and I was like nodding my head and saying like yeah it's really interesting and then a couple hours later I'd ask her the same question because I wasn't hearing her. Oh so she knew you weren't listening?
[00:28:35] I think so yeah and that kind of like and then she like blew up got really upset and this is the part I was getting to is she like grilled me for like 25 30 minutes I'm like everything I was doing wrong and you know how this was like
[00:28:49] such a let down and all this stuff. To your face? To my face? Boom crazy like. Wait I have a question was she your age or older than you? Older because I usually I usually go for older girls. Yeah I
[00:29:01] was gonna say I could see you with like a 25. She was like 27 I think. Okay. Yeah I usually go for older girls. Okay. Just my age I don't know there's just like a disconnect
[00:29:10] but yeah blew up just grilling me for like 30 35 minutes and I could tell she was really expecting like fighting fire with fire right? Well you did this and like whatever and I just said
[00:29:25] you know what like I think I literally what I just said to you I think we both came in here with like the highest of expectations and I'm sorry that I wasn't like what you thought
[00:29:39] I'm sorry I didn't live up to what you were thinking of me and I definitely apologize for you know not making you feel hurt and like the other things and then and I was like I have a friend that lives in Fort Lauderdale like I'm happy to like
[00:29:53] you know Uber over there for the last day because this is in the middle of the trip. Oh wow and I was like I don't want to make you uncomfortable and she was completely taken
[00:30:03] back by it she was like I think she was just surprised that you were so willing to take responsibility. Yeah because I definitely there was definitely things I did wrong for sure but you
[00:30:12] know I think that that was the right thing to do and I mean my my biggest fear is to really like leave on the wrong note and then someone's running around like talking about how horrible you are
[00:30:28] you know yeah so yeah I ended up just staying the rest of the weekend with her and we just hung out as friends so it ended on a good note I think yeah and we still talk now it's cool
[00:30:38] I think we both agreed like we're both very similar in a lot of ways and I really respect you as a person and she said it's the same to me but I was like you know I think what we're looking for
[00:30:49] is a little different like I'm you know I'm still also very young yeah you're very young so I'm still very young um maybe I don't maybe I don't even know what I'm looking for yet honestly
[00:31:01] I think it's too early to tell yeah I might think I know what I'm looking for but anyway that was a yeah up and a half but um yeah I said I was wrong and it worked out in my favor so guys if
[00:31:12] you're listening it's uh it's the right thing to do for sure saying you were wrong yeah but you actually did feel that you were wrong it wasn't like some for sure it wasn't like some she was
[00:31:21] like telling me how she was telling me like how sad and like let down she was for like 30 minutes I was like I'm so sorry like because I could tell there was something wrong she was like a
[00:31:30] little quiet for a while yeah I was like hey you know you mentioned how like important communication is do you do you want to talk about it like you know you haven't really said anything in a
[00:31:39] while boom do you have sisters Adam bomb I have a step sister okay are you close to your mom I'm very close with my mom yeah I kind of grew up with my mom my dad was kind of out of the
[00:31:50] picture for a little bit really yeah and now he's back in the picture yeah we're closer he's um I have a lot of respect for the guy super smart super hard working doctor right doctor right
[00:32:03] like insanely intelligent insanely respected by his whole group you could say his network um but I mean like a doctor and like an entrepreneur like the complete opposite sides of the spectrum
[00:32:19] meaning you and him yeah okay so yeah he was like not the most we didn't see eye to eye for a long time I think we beat we challenged each other yeah I think I wanted to challenge him like I wanted
[00:32:31] to like piss him off you know yeah so now we're close though and I'm glad that we can like bond on more of a friend level now as opposed to like son father being above you I hate that
[00:32:45] like I don't want anyone to feel above me I don't want to feel above anybody else I want to be able to like especially if it's another guy I want to be able to communicate on like a friendship
[00:32:55] level if that makes sense that's also why I would never want to work for anybody else I don't ever want to work for another guy is what I'm saying but you can work for a girl
[00:33:02] no I don't want to work for anybody I don't want to work for anybody um but the point is like I think for him he I think as a father you the what you want most is to feel like you're
[00:33:15] leading and directing someone and the right you know what I mean like showing them the right way right and his way for me was not what I wanted and I voiced that many times and
[00:33:26] and then ultimately that's like a big blow-up situation what did he want for you that you didn't want well I think he wanted me to like go to school and like be a doctor or a lawyer or something you
[00:33:35] know yeah and I wanted to like drop out and tattoos and social media like exact opposite yeah I can relate to that my parents just wanted me to be like I don't know I mean I have like a fiery
[00:33:50] personality but but they just want I think they just wanted me to like get married by a certain age are your parents traditional in some ways yeah in some ways yeah like even now I'll go on a date with
[00:34:07] like I'll be on I'll go on a second date and she's like okay so do you know where this is going I'm like mom I don't I don't know what's gonna happen do you find it hard to date out here in
[00:34:16] LA yeah everyone asks that I'm just I'm always I'm always curious different areas yeah there's different stages in life you lived here yeah for a little bit what's it like dating
[00:34:30] here versus dating in Austin um I mean do you want like the my honest my really honest that I'm here to have honest my really honest answer on that is I think I think the girls in Texas
[00:34:47] overall are a lot nicer and more down to earth but they're nowhere in their attractive okay that's that's my honest answer so attractive you're strictly talking about like physical beauty yeah
[00:35:01] like I you know I'll walk around LA and not even like going out just like going to like a restaurant or something and you'll see like the most stunning girl ever all the time same thing
[00:35:12] Miami yeah right Miami especially New York those are the three hot spots in the US it's true when I go and when I'm in any of these places I'm even yeah I'm even like whoa this girl's hot all the
[00:35:21] time like once a day you see someone you're just like she's insanely attractive right yeah I haven't seen that that much in Austin and I was really surprised by a lot of people were like bro the
[00:35:30] girls in Austin are so beautiful and I'm gonna get fucking hate for this but I just maybe it's maybe my type that's maybe that's the thing maybe what is your type I don't know maybe my
[00:35:40] type is like a more LA looking girl whereas like Austin in Texas is like a more like a less prepped up version if that makes sense interesting so but to be honest though to be fair I don't really go
[00:35:55] out in Austin so maybe I'm not giving myself like the opportunity you know what I mean you really saved yourself there with that one why um no I'm totally kidding okay so how so how important
[00:36:12] is someone's beauty versus other characteristics because I've seen you make videos talking about how like dude that's not the most important thing I've seen you make videos about how like guys
[00:36:27] sort of choose based on that but then it's like what else is it about oh yeah this conversation fires me up I love talking about this I think most guys I think most guys only look at one thing and
[00:36:37] that's attractiveness whereas I feel like girls do a better job at like ranking everything so I think the way I look at it is if there was like a chart and I had five scales out of 10 physical
[00:36:51] attractiveness like ambition values intelligence kindness you could put whatever qualities you look for on there but if you had to rank like those five out of 10 I think girls do a much better job
[00:37:04] at like okay maybe he's like a five out of ten attractiveness but he's insanely ambitious he's really funny he's very family oriented and he's really smart he's a 8.2 out of 10 now
[00:37:19] to me attractiveness yeah guys most guys and I'm not and I don't even like I'm not even exaggerating like most guys I think look at one thing and one thing only and that's the attractiveness
[00:37:31] and it's unfortunate because it's even the guys that are pretty successful too who you'd think would be better at seeing someone for like full picture yeah exactly right it's not just
[00:37:42] like the loser guy it's like oh the guy who has made a lot of money who's very successful who's very good at business still might go for the girl that's like you know 9.5 out of 10 attractiveness but then like everything else is lacking are you wondering why psychologically
[00:37:56] because I think I have the answer well I'm sure there is like some sort of biological reason not biological psychological reason is it something to do with status and yeah respect from other men
[00:38:07] probably yes damn you're good for your age very let's hear it okay so I was on a yacht in Miami and I meet this guy and first of all I had a strange interaction with him like I went and
[00:38:24] introduced myself and he was like wow you're very type A and he's like you're very cute but do you know how to submit to a man like that's such a weird thing to say nice that's a weird thing
[00:38:35] to say yeah very strange yeah old as this guy like around 40 oh yeah okay yeah so feel like that's not that rare in Miami too meeting someone that says something like that yeah Miami's a weird
[00:38:47] there's some weird people in Miami yeah but there's some weird people everywhere I see I see this sentiment and I will I'll talk to you in a little bit about how like politics sort of affects people's
[00:38:58] perceptions on dating and marriage because I think that's like a big one that I've noticed but this guy I hear him later in a conversation with another guy and these are all super
[00:39:10] successful guys and he says to this guy bro one of the best feelings in the world has to be when you're walking into a room with a dime on your arm and everyone and everyone else
[00:39:23] turns their heads and thinks to themselves damn what the fuck does that guy do for work like what does that guy do okay you know what you're absolutely right 100% and I like I even
[00:39:35] think every guy can so read that and that must go back like thousands of years honestly so what's it was always so interesting to me was and I and I never really it never really
[00:39:49] came full circle until I heard this guy say that until I heard this guy say that and because I don't you think girls want that too sorry to interrupt like girls want the guy
[00:40:01] that every other all the other girls want to yeah I think so too but but like you said we are also so in tune with our emotions that like there are certain guys that I know if I dated
[00:40:15] them everyone would be like oh she's so lucky because the guy is so wealthy girls don't get jealous about fame too I feel like fame is probably the biggest aphrodisiac I will yeah
[00:40:26] yeah I'll I have a story off the podcast for that one sweet but um but yeah that is a big one and also a woman seeing that another man commands and this is related to fame commands the respect
[00:40:40] of a lot of people so a guy who's like giving a speech or an athlete or someone that everyone looks up to if women see that in front of their face it doesn't matter how physically attractive
[00:40:52] the guy is that gives them power and status and girls get aroused by that I've seen it too so but what was so interesting to me is that the guy saying one of the best feelings in the world
[00:41:04] has to be so guys looking over at you I would have thought he would have said like you know as you're like sleeping with her and you're about like you know what I mean like I thought he I
[00:41:13] thought that would have been the experience like you're with a beautiful girl after you've like had the most amazing night ever and you've made love or whatever whatever it is
[00:41:23] like I would have thought and that I would have at least respected a little more like I get that but the fact that the girl herself was an accessory to that guy I had a serious problem
[00:41:35] with it like as a girl listening to that I would never date a guy like that can I be honest with you be honest with you I think every guy thinks that way I hear what you're saying I think
[00:41:46] it's like I think it's like let me yeah okay I think maybe there's something wrong with that like I'm I'm I think I think I think instinctively a lot of guys think that way
[00:41:57] like subconsciously but but for example you are very conscious of the way that you are and the way that other people are and you live your life by a little bit different values
[00:42:09] from what I've seen and what I've heard but you're super aware that like if the girl is just good looking that is not going to cut it in a relationship when all the other qualities will
[00:42:21] preserve that relationship and her looks wrong and so a lot of these guys and and that's why I have an issue with them choosing that way well I think if you're if that's your I agree
[00:42:32] with you if that's the only thing that matters to you is like having your trophy like that's definitely a terrible way to look at it right and that's there's a lot of guys like that unfortunately
[00:42:42] probably even majority of guys right but I mean I think I think that's like instinctively built into all men just like women instinctively want like more of a they most women would you not
[00:42:58] agree want a guy that like could defend them right yeah not like a very docile and fragile dude some girls are really into like the more like softy guy but at the end of the day I think more often
[00:43:09] than not girls want like a strong they want like the the bad boy or the pack you know and that goes back to like in any animal kingdom you know not to get like super down that track or whatever but
[00:43:21] I mean I'll even admit it and maybe there's something wrong with this like I know some guys some guys like don't want to go out with their girls that really that really
[00:43:30] revs me the wrong way like I'm not taking my girl out because like other dudes are going to look at her right what and yeah yeah all the time I know a lot of guys that are like that's so insecure
[00:43:38] that's the you have a seed that I agree with you I think that's done right and and I'm the type of guy that's like dude I want to be seen with her literally yeah like I want to be dating like
[00:43:49] someone who obviously has like every single attribute that I'm looking for but I would I wouldn't have a problem with walking out and everyone looking at them like that would make me
[00:43:58] feel good if I walk into like some like big dinner or some like big party and and your girl is like way more famous way more wealthy than you like that wouldn't bug me at all like that would make me
[00:44:08] feel great okay wait that's interesting because because way more famous and way more oh yeah two other things okay that would bug me as long as I'm like I don't want to feel like if I was making
[00:44:22] $10 million a year okay and my wife was making 100 that wouldn't bug me at all but if I was like not able to provide and she was paying all the bills I think that would that would that would
[00:44:32] seriously bug me because that wouldn't make me feel like a man yeah that would make me feel like like that would never happen but that would that would that would make me feel very uh
[00:44:44] what's the word invaluable as a man yeah you know what I mean yeah um but yeah I wouldn't have a problem I mean I would I would like that honestly I think they'd be sick but I know a lot of
[00:44:53] guys this is why I love Gen Z are you're Gen Z I guess I think you're Gen Z when it's funny I talk I think I talk about this Kayla with you a lot how like like when I was younger I always dated
[00:45:06] guys that were like 10 years older than me and if I would express to them that like I wanted to work or I had this dream or I wanted to do this and and like I thought it was so cool
[00:45:18] they'd be like oh I don't need you to do all that but the message was like look I have a lot of money like I don't need you to do all that and it always made me feel bad and everybody used to
[00:45:30] tell me like dude you're so lucky this guy doesn't want you to work but I don't think that's hot I think it's it's hotter if the guy just like if the guy can provide and you have the option
[00:45:40] to work or not not like for sure you shouldn't work and because I have money and that's what I didn't like about it when I started going out and like meeting younger guys because when I when I
[00:45:50] was in my 20s I was only dating older guys once I hit like 31 then I started getting attention from younger guys which had been that was never even an option how does that feel at first I was
[00:46:02] like is there something exciting about that like be honest yeah because they're the vibe is better they have more energy they're more like like what there's a lot of guys I can think about that
[00:46:13] are younger that like when they find out what I do they're like oh that's so sick that's so awesome that's so amazing like man you're just like so cool and I'm just like okay you're right yeah like
[00:46:25] you know and so I think I think being around younger guys and going out with younger and I'm not talking like your age I'm talking like like even 27 yeah they're even like like damn
[00:46:40] that's so fire you know what I mean like everything I felt like they liked me for me that generation I felt like they liked me for me whereas where I the way that I was dating it was more like
[00:46:51] I'm this role and you're that role and this is how masculinity is and this is how femininity is and we need the polarity and whatever and to some extent like I guess some of that stuff
[00:47:01] is true like we are attracted to like the more dominant type I still am attracted to but dominant but kind yeah that was another thing when I was younger I used to date guys
[00:47:13] I'm talking not I'm talking like high school and like mid 20s I used to date guys that like seriously thought they were thugs like they they acted like that super were they I mean not like really
[00:47:26] but they thought you know what I mean or like and they were like super influenced by like rap music and so am I and so that's that's who I vibed with more and I remember one of the guys I
[00:47:40] dated had like a serious anger problem and I grew up like listening to Eminem so if you ever heard like Eminem's songs especially towards his ex-wife Kim yeah like very aggressive very like like
[00:47:54] hot and cold on and off fighting the makeup sex whatever so I thought that was normal so I was in I was in relationships with guys like that turns out very toxic yeah okay turns out
[00:48:04] very toxic and by the way the other problem fun the reason yeah the reason why the reason why people get hooked is because the sex is better it's more exciting and it's just it's more fun
[00:48:16] because you're on the roller coaster but the lows suck and the highs are even higher but yeah but but for in terms of like long-term relationships don't do not recommend for sure do not recommend but I started I started working somewhere and I met this girl
[00:48:32] and I started telling her like yeah like guys like this six she's like what's your type and I was like yeah guys like this excite me I love this blah blah blah and she goes you know it's so interesting
[00:48:41] that you're telling me that you like guys that are aggressive and and all of this stuff and she goes in my culture a man who's strong is a man who can control himself and has
[00:48:55] discipline and doesn't just go off and I was like wow I had never thought what was her culture she was Hispanic and so and so she's like that's actually strength and that one just hit because
[00:49:09] I was like wow like these guys that are getting into fights and all this stuff like I used to think like that's so hot and when I looked at it her way I was like wow that's so true like
[00:49:20] I don't want the guy who's like the father of my kids to be this like unhinged person you know and so so there's little things that you realize that you're attracted to
[00:49:29] when I interviewed Robert Green he talked about this he's like a lot of the things that you're attracted to just go back to your childhood of what you're familiar with when with your parents
[00:49:38] and I had to look at myself and be like okay what in my environment was like this that made me attracted to that and so that all does stem from childhood for sure
[00:49:48] yeah I mean when I think about like I you know I had a lot of friends from college like girlfriends from college who I feel like this is pretty general general pretty well known but like
[00:50:01] would you not agree that girls who had like a bit of daddy issues typically are more attracted to like toxic relationships yeah for sure yeah so yeah that's what that's what most of the girls
[00:50:11] that's friends with in college like and a lot of the guys are attracted to girls with daddy issues because they like to be daddy that's yeah I mean that's just what I hear yeah that's just what
[00:50:20] I hear yeah so so yeah all of these things are really interesting I like I like hearing about this type of stuff and I'm I'm jealous of that conversation you know with Robert Green because
[00:50:30] I think that is that would be very fascinating to like really get down to why people think this way where this comes from I'm jealous that interview you got so I mean you might get in
[00:50:43] you'll probably get an interview with I would love to I would love to yeah so I remember one of the things that he said to me that I never forgot in the interview was if you want to know
[00:50:55] if someone's really into you or if they or if they would make a good partner pay attention to the gifts that they give you and he said anybody can buy you flowers or diamonds or jewelry
[00:51:09] because they know that that's the right gift to give but if someone's paying attention to the books you read the music you listen the music you listen to the movies you watch and they're really in your
[00:51:20] world and getting you a gift based on that then they're paying attention and I thought that that was like really profound I had never heard that yeah no I agree with that for sure I'm even
[00:51:30] trying to get better at that myself because I used to suck at that like wait but how are you gonna get you're not dating that much are you I'm not but but like the other day when I was
[00:51:41] like starting to talk to this girl I remember one of my guy friends was like start writing stuff down because I have the worst memory possible oh wait okay like start right though she says yeah like I
[00:51:52] have the worst memory I think I have memory loss to be honest I'm I have a hard time like being in the moment to be honest so I'm always thinking about the future and I literally
[00:52:01] think because of that is a little tangent I like the past kind of just like slowly disappears like I don't remember anything from middle school high school's barely hanging on even college is
[00:52:13] already like that was a year ago so I'm slowly forgetting everything I like that for you though it's it's kind of nice to not remember everything I'm fine with it people are like isn't that sad
[00:52:22] I was like not really like yeah I mean um it's all yeah at all maybe that'll be sad like when I have kids one day and I don't think I'll forget about their childhood or anything but
[00:52:32] I think in general I try and like look forward so I don't even focus on the past and when you haven't thought about stuff in a long time it's hard to like you know go back to those memory
[00:52:43] banks you know what I mean so what have you been writing down so like when I like do find myself getting feelings for a girl like if there's like a little thing she'll mention like I've been
[00:52:54] trying to like write stuff down in my notes okay do you remember like the last thing that you wrote or like one thing like simple stuff like if they mention like oh I love
[00:53:07] Thai food like I will all go and pull my notes on be like loves Thai food or if they mention like if I ask a question see because of that last experience I had I really don't want to repeat
[00:53:23] that where I asked someone like what's your favorite movie like three times yeah in a short you know to the point where like I already told you that so like I've and maybe this is like sad that I can't
[00:53:34] remember this off the top of my head but I've been really trying to make a point recently like if I do care about someone um to like write down little notes okay that's cute well it's more
[00:53:45] like I I can't remember it but I know but it's cute that you're making the effort to remember it or like to have it there so you can you know what I mean yeah it's the effort yeah yeah
[00:53:57] so maybe you know I'll get better at that over time but we're working on it yeah god this could really go in any direction um open book like I said oh open book no I know
[00:54:09] I noticed that about you you just don't there is where you always like this no I think I used to like really care what people thought about me how did you get over that this practice I think
[00:54:22] I think because I feel like I'm still not fully over it I feel like I'm over it but I'm not fully over it I used to be so insecure trying to I talked about this the other day on like a live I think
[00:54:37] I used to try so hard to be like the person that fit in you know yeah if like I was hanging out on a friend group every friend group has like different stuff they think it's cool stuff they wear
[00:54:47] little things do they cuff their pants do they are like the most of them like wear the flat bill hats or like little dumb stuff like that you know there were literally friend groups
[00:54:58] in my college they all wore like these flat bill hats I call them like it was like this one fraternity I call them the new port guys right because everyone in new ports wears that or like this
[00:55:06] other house like are always wearing gym attire right so everyone every friend group has different stuff that like identifies them as that group and I would try so hard to fit in years ago
[00:55:19] and I didn't feel like myself and it sucked but then the more that I just did like whatever the fuck I want acted said and didn't care whatsoever about like conforming the freer and better I felt
[00:55:33] about myself and I do think it takes practice so like with social media you know I have I get a lot of support and a lot of people really like my stuff but I have a ton of haters too like I don't
[00:55:43] know if you know I see I see them have you ever seen my comments people are people will literally be in my comments be like I don't know why but I fucking hate this guy and I just yeah like the ego
[00:55:53] the comments about the ego and stuff yeah like I always look at the comments and I'm just like I laugh at that like that it doesn't bug me at all they don't even know you that was it's
[00:56:02] fascinating to me I actually think it's interesting so like why is this person so angry why why do they think that way big so many reasons is it jealousies envies yeah that's that's part of it
[00:56:13] did their brother boy them yesterday yeah or you might remind them of someone that they don't like and they're not going to say it to that person they'll say it to you when when someone is typing
[00:56:24] it's very different they would never they wouldn't approach you and dare say those things to no one has ever come up to me that's what I'm saying that's what I ever come up to me
[00:56:32] in person that's what I'm saying so there was a time on crypto twitter where I got cancelled you got cancelled oh my god oh no let's hear it for what it was the most uh I got accused of pump
[00:56:46] and dumping did you I didn't but someone someone that I gave that I sent NFTs to did and it wasn't on purpose yeah and so and so this caused a whole thing and then man that that taught me a lot and was
[00:57:05] and was so devastating at the same time but I'll never forget um my lawyer who was who was also like why the hell did you apologize because my I was so scared my podcast sponsor was gonna
[00:57:17] like not renew yeah and they didn't but whatever um I was so afraid of that that I just listened to the guy and I was and I was and I said something like dumb in the apology and it became a meme
[00:57:32] and after I've never had so many people pile on me like this ever to this day if I tweet and the tweet does well I still people still quote it you're that you're known for like that one thing
[00:57:44] that one specific community yeah exactly and and everyone had to keep reminding me like Nicole and the like this doesn't matter it's just right here and by the way like most people will forget about it yeah you know what I mean and it's the ones if someone's a
[00:57:58] hater they're a hater bro you think the people that are commenting shit on your on your page aren't commenting on a bunch of other people's page they're just getting to do I like I like to picture
[00:58:08] whenever I see a hate comment I like to picture on my head who that person is I think of like some kid on their bed like kicking their feet in the air like oh he's gonna hate this one yeah
[00:58:16] and I literally find it funny and I'll respond to them some people say block those haters some people say no leave them there because you know what leave your your a lot of times your fans
[00:58:28] will defend you 100 they do they do awesome they do but sometimes I'll respond like someone will be like who the fuck listens to this guy and you're a respond like I fully agree or like for real
[00:58:38] or you know what I mean yeah yeah yeah that's smart yeah that's smart I guess I try and get some joy out of it but here's one thing um that I haven't really talked about much I think
[00:58:48] in order to like fully block out the negative stuff you also have to block out the positive this is what I've experienced myself I think for me like getting back to what we were just talking
[00:59:05] about how like not caring about anybody thinks about you being a completely open book in my mind what I've had to do is kind of like callous my feelings so like no one could ever say
[00:59:17] something to me that would hurt my feelings even in person right like you could be sitting here and you could say like you know you just you seem like a angry little boy and what I would think in my
[00:59:27] mind is like I wonder what she went through today or like I wonder once again kind of like you said I wonder who she met I really rubbed her the wrong way that I remind her of for her to
[00:59:36] say something like that yeah so I wouldn't get upset I wouldn't give my feelings hurt but in order to like get to this point I've had to like open myself up to
[00:59:45] like pure attack right open the walls let everything come in to like callous my mind and that also has led to like me not I think being able to fully appreciate the positive stuff which I'm trying
[00:59:59] to work on you know Santa Cruz medicinals no never seen him friend of mine big social media guy and he was telling me that the other day he's like bro you really need to like make it a
[01:00:07] priority to like go and read your positive dms and like take and let that like when someone DMs you and says like bro you've changed my life or like that's what you gotta like dude I started my
[01:00:16] first business because of you or like I you really got me through this heartbreak he's like you need to open that and you need to sit there and appreciate that because right now I don't to
[01:00:25] be honest like I see it out okay there's you know yeah just like the hate ones I like everything it just flies bounces off so yeah I think I think that's good but someone told me when I started
[01:00:38] like you know interviewing all these cool people and doing the events and I told one of my friends like you know well neval said this to me or this person said this to me and he's like you need
[01:00:49] to write those down and when you feel like you're in a rut that will show you who the fuck you are that'll remind you who you are which by the way I also think you should choose
[01:01:01] friends that way like friends who are really honest with you but remind you who you are when you're down yeah that's like the most I don't know how you choose your friends
[01:01:10] but when I was your eight first of all I barely have any of the friends that I had when I was I was about to ask you that is how many people do you still talk to which is interesting because
[01:01:18] a lot of people are like oh my day ones I feel like that concept is fading I feel like it's it's fading but also we didn't choose right we chose based on like who was cool to hang out
[01:01:28] with or who was you know the right person to party with or who's hot or who got sat next to you in class like out of your control yeah out of your control or even just for the wrong
[01:01:37] reasons because you're chasing things that just aren't real yeah you know what I mean so so I barely there are barely people for my 20s that I keep in touch with if I'm being honest
[01:01:49] but also I'm so different than the person I was when I'm like I look back and I'm like I was I would never be the friend that I am today at that age I didn't know how to be
[01:02:00] no one teaches you these things that's like I look at like the school system and I'm like what the fuck are they teaching us you know what I mean like where are the skills that matter
[01:02:09] if I could if I could do one thing and maybe one day I'll do it I would set up it would probably have to be a private school I don't know but I would set up a school that integrated
[01:02:21] life and relationship skills into the curriculum because it's that important I'm I'm glad you said that because I'm I'm working on something right now don't steal my idea I'm not what I already
[01:02:32] have I already so I like I have this community of like it's mostly guys I don't even know the exact demographics but it's probably like 80% guys maybe even more maybe 90 yeah and it's like
[01:02:43] mostly young guys 18 to 26 how many people how many guys what like my following no that you said community how many how many oh I'm I'm still building it out like I have like a couple people
[01:02:55] like coding and everything right now it's just gonna be like discord simple they're building it out for me they've been doing it the past week but I have like this following of young ambitious guys who
[01:03:05] like just want to get better which is what all my content is about most of my stuff is like business life advice relationship advice and I'm not even like the all-knowing guru I just try and talk
[01:03:17] about like things that I wish I knew yesterday that's all my content is like it I learned this lesson from Nicole then I go and I make a video about it right yeah and so I'm pretty much
[01:03:27] sharing with all my followers like the stuff I wish I knew yesterday right and right now I'm building out like a like an online school I call it of I pretty much just want to have like
[01:03:41] live sessions with me couple times a week okay and then bring on my founder friends to give like little guest keynotes or like webinars right smart so if you're ever willing to do that I'd love
[01:03:53] to have you on it I feel like most of the most of my network is guys like successful young founders yeah I don't know that many successful female founders not that they're not out there I know
[01:04:04] I have a ton I could introduce yeah so I want to I feel like that'd be really valuable to get that other perspective and you also have other perspective on like dating and I feel like
[01:04:12] a lot of young guys would get some value out of having you on there for like an hour yeah and I'd be honest about it like if anyone had like a question about anything like I yeah that I
[01:04:21] would do that yeah okay cool sweet all right okay one thing I wanted to say about community because when I was in crypto everyone kept saying like NFT community right and I started reading this
[01:04:38] book unrelated that was talking about how the problem with our society is we don't we have not defined love okay and and there are so many things that we refer to as love that aren't love like
[01:04:55] emotional addiction infatuation things like this and we're calling it love and that's why we have you know horrible relationships and as I was reading that I'm like what other words have
[01:05:06] we not defined like if I write a book this is probably going to be it okay like define the word that's like my mind define the thing that you're describing because if you don't define it you
[01:05:18] don't even know what you're talking about like whether it's friendship love whatever it is yeah and so community I was like okay how do I define that word because they're calling it the NFT community but everyone's pissed when they're down bad and they're only friends when they're
[01:05:35] up yeah you know right so then I'm like I don't like that that's not to me that's not a community other thing that I realized was a lot of people grew up in like religious communities schools
[01:05:48] communities that their parents built through their social networks whatever but when you talk to them they look back on their childhoods and they're like I felt so much shame I felt like
[01:05:59] I was different I felt like I did not belong and I thought to myself like okay if I were to define the word community in a healthy way because that's all I care about I don't want to build a
[01:06:09] community that's not healthy I think it's a room or situation where people when they enter they're greeted with curiosity not judgment and people are genuinely interested in their lives and and there is no negativity jealousy whatever and then I think it's up to I guess leadership whoever's
[01:06:37] leading that community like you're leading yours to make sure that that doesn't exist and that happens with like company culture like have you ever been in a workplace where like people are free to talk
[01:06:46] shit and everyone's like being really judgmental I think that's horrible I think really good leaders don't even allow that like I love a person where someone's trying to gossip and say horrible things and they're just like what does that matter and they just like change the subject
[01:07:02] yeah like that person 10 points right there 100% no I fully agree so that's what I think about when I think of like community just like because you're building one and you're young so I think to myself
[01:07:13] like you already have really good values but for anyone else listening because I'm sure like they look up to you and they're like oh maybe I want to do a community like this like
[01:07:23] I think it's just important to factor in how people are being treated and how they relate to each other within that yeah I think I think any business or team or yeah business and a team
[01:07:40] would be considered a community as well and in a way and I think every I think every community like you said is a reflection of the leader the one person and what their values are if you
[01:07:50] have because I've seen like businesses that do extremely well and their founder is just like the greatest guy ever or the greatest girl ever right just not only super ambitious but just very kind yeah making sure their employees know that they're you know they matter that they're
[01:08:03] not just a number and I don't know I feel like as long as the the leader or the founder whoever's in charge is emulating those values and they're engaged and active then it can happen for sure
[01:08:18] yeah no for sure for sure so I'm working on that we'll see I'm gonna try and be active in there in my in your community yeah well if you're leading it you're gonna be a little active
[01:08:29] yeah for sure yeah so okay so you have the business you're already online as this like personality mm-hmm your tiktok is a crushing it's all over the place though is it sometimes just doing well sometimes it's not tiktok sucks I know it's really hard that's why
[01:08:46] I'm trying to go crazy on YouTube next so like with my podcast right everyone that's watched it has told me like dude this is so valuable this is fucking awesome like the pace is great the guests
[01:08:56] are great like I don't know why it hasn't ripped yet and it's because like there hasn't been mad exposure right so now I'm in the process of doing the same thing hiring out like you know half a
[01:09:07] dozen hopefully it doesn't eventually clippers to just go through and like spam it everywhere and some of them put a lot of effort into the clip some put none some do very well like I posted one
[01:09:20] on my own account last night it's at like 250k views right now what did you say uh I don't know let's pull it up okay it was a it was just a clip from the podcast it'd be controversial okay let's
[01:09:34] say who cares they better oh it was the matriarch one oh yeah I saw that yeah and then here's another that one was last night 250k okay and then I posted another one this morning 150k okay
[01:09:46] these are just clips that some guy threw together put some music in the background mad cheap too how cheap I can't expose his prices I'm paying like 125 bucks for a million dollars actually
[01:09:57] all right 125 bucks for a million views which is like a crazy good rate okay we need to talk after this because okay I'm gatekeeping this guy though okay oh I have resources I could give
[01:10:09] you too sir all right we can we can talk we can yeah we can talk but um yeah this guy's unbelievable the videos he makes me are nuts like I just posted these they're blowing up and then I have other
[01:10:19] guys who make clips and they get like 20 likes right so a little bit of difference in like energy and how much effort you put into these edits like can make a big difference but um yeah the one
[01:10:31] that I posted the one that I posted this morning that said 150k it was about we already talked about this by how I got cheated on yeah and most people I think after they get cheated on
[01:10:43] I did this the first time run around sleeping with everyone they can because they're seeking validation right so and I think that's I think it's like understandable like you have this person
[01:10:53] in your life and you're giving all this um energy to them and you're receiving energy and then all of a sudden they're missing they're just gone and not only that but they've like taken something
[01:11:02] with them they're like taking a piece of your soul when you get cheated on I have a different experience with that but I'll oh yeah tell me after with my experience I got cheated on I ran
[01:11:11] around trying to sleep with everybody trying to fill that void that was then there because I felt like wrong then I felt like that was going to make me feel better didn't do anything
[01:11:22] then I ended up getting back with the person yeah right which I'm ashamed of but I think everyone you know you I think everyone goes through that at least once everyone goes through that and don't be ashamed of it didn't talk to the person for a long time
[01:11:34] almost like I was so close to moving on like so close and what happened uh we were on like a big she was in um my best friend group so like it's hard to like yeah distance it's hard to
[01:11:47] like move on when someone's always there you know yeah it's not her fault but we ended up hooking up again and then I got feelings again and she didn't really I think she kind of just
[01:11:56] was like yeah why not and I got feelings again and she didn't who knows I mean I don't want to like speak on her yeah exactly but I got feelings again and then I thought it was going to go somewhere
[01:12:06] again she didn't really want it to and then back in the hole right mental hole pit of desperation and at that point I was like you know what I'm not going to sleep with anyone I'm literally not
[01:12:17] even going to allow it to happen I was still in college at a big party school and I was like you know like I said top attorney like the options were there but I was like I'm not going to
[01:12:24] sleep with anyone for a long time until I feel like this person is like so hot so cool so awesome on the hot being first yeah I mean yeah honestly like I'm not going to sleep with anyone until
[01:12:40] someone like amazing comes along right and that helped me heal and like you know move on a lot better because then I wasn't like searching for the validation elsewhere I just put it back
[01:12:50] into myself let me make sure I have a good time with my friends work on what I'm building you know what I mean yeah and you attract better people that way yeah 100% yeah it worked so for
[01:13:01] any guys out there or girls like if you get cheated on don't sleep around right after yeah take some time to yourself work on yourself come back stronger yeah I didn't sleep with anyone
[01:13:13] when I got cheated on seven years ago I was in a relationship with a guy who I'll be honest I was not bad into every other boyfriend before that super like oh my god I love him I want to
[01:13:30] like sneak out of my parents house and be with him that kind of feeling this guy safe you know had all the checked all the boxes you know so like who you thought you were supposed
[01:13:44] to be with who who everyone around me thought I was supposed to be with like they'd be like oh my god and he's doing all this stuff for you and he's buying you things and he has a home and
[01:13:52] like I was 26 and when he when he finally did cheat on me and I caught him I went to therapy and the therapist was like you know what you're feeling I go what and she goes relief because
[01:14:12] now you don't have to marry him he had already asked my parents to to propose yeah and I was like damn she's right I think if I if I was like in love with him or something I would have been so
[01:14:26] devastated but I was so relieved because at that point like I wasn't working a lot that's why I really I think I totally understand like the stay-at-home mom thing because I think being a mom is
[01:14:36] is a job I really do but I think women should have financial stability and know that they can be on their own before they enter into a relationship because you don't want to
[01:14:48] be with someone just because you know they're taking care of you that's not the reason you want to be with them it's great that they are it's great to have that option I want that option
[01:14:58] but I'm not going to be with someone because of that I'm going to be with someone because I look up to them I think they're an amazing person we have great conversation I'm attracted to
[01:15:06] them I wasn't that attracted to the guy and so honestly I could I'm not saying he had an excuse for cheating and by the way as far as I know this guy is a serial cheater it has happened
[01:15:17] yeah so that's but at the time I under I kind of could see him in a situation where another girl was you know giving him attention it actually he cheated with an office manager so yeah and he
[01:15:33] was a doctor so I sort of like I could understand why that dynamic apparently that's very common too apparently that's a real currently doctors cheat all the time yeah I also think I also think
[01:15:43] a lot of doctors not all of them because I know some good ones I think a lot of doctors have God complex because yeah they go for sure go into a situation and everyone's like oh doctor we need
[01:15:54] like they need them yeah you know and so everyone treats them a certain way in the office and then when they go out in the real world reality doesn't match up to the way they're treated there so
[01:16:06] they can't they can't fathom that yeah and and like my dad has really told me that because he's a doctor he's very well very smart guy very well respected and he's he's told me not only that but
[01:16:16] like unfortunately a lot of doctors go into medicine for external validation beyond just like saving lives and helping people it's like whether it's the money or the respect right they want to like maybe it's societal is societal respect from your family from your
[01:16:40] community oh my son's a doctor right like and that's that's been around that's that's not new right so it's unfortunate that like a lot of our trust is put in hands of people who
[01:16:51] don't really just want to help you like they're doing it for the cloud in a way yeah no I feel that's real yeah that's real and so I totally at the time I sort of understood why that dynamic
[01:17:04] would appeal to him although no one should cheat um but yeah that's fascinating by the way it's so interesting now that i'm thinking about it like I don't at this age I I don't think I would date
[01:17:22] a doctor and maybe not even a lawyer well I I think doctor the doctor type personality doesn't really go along with what you do with me too as like an entrepreneur because I think nothing against them
[01:17:41] but doctors and lawyers are like in my mind kind of system people right right nothing against them got to put that same very important very important type of people but it's like a follow the rules
[01:17:54] right you're not encouraged to break the rules whereas as an entrepreneur or even in crypto right you're you're constantly trying to invent new things find out easier you're trying to you want to cut corners right like the best entrepreneurs are people who figure out like
[01:18:09] the most creative ways to cut corners right make other people's lives easier provide value in those different ways and that is like extremely shunned in the world of medicine because that's how people get hurt and that's how like you know mistakes happen and people die
[01:18:23] yeah so it makes sense that that wouldn't be like your ideal partner you know yeah so I would never want to marry a doctor it's interesting that you say that because when people ask me what are
[01:18:33] you looking for because in LA everyone's like trying to set each other up at least in the circles that I run in and I always tell people I want a really happy entrepreneur happy because
[01:18:47] whoever I'm with my mood sort of like adjusts to their mood I noticed like if someone's vibing I'm probably vibing yeah you know what I mean but if someone's like down in the like
[01:18:56] I will come down there with you and I don't and I can't I don't want to be that that'll affect me as like a mother as a partner as everything and then entrepreneur because
[01:19:08] the reasons you said but also entrepreneurs are serial problem solvers I love that I want to be with a fucking problem solver I want someone when we're home to be like any problem that
[01:19:20] arises they're like trying to problem solve with me not that I'm so dependent on them to do it and I don't do anything because I think I don't know tell me how you feel about this
[01:19:29] because when I'm online and I know online doesn't necessarily reflect reality but there's a lot of maybe it's like the red pill manosphere type vibe but it's like oh you know I want a girl who's
[01:19:42] super traditional and stays home and blah blah blah but it's like or like even the word submit I don't like it I don't like it so here's my perspective on that wait actually let me let
[01:19:54] you finish your question what was it what did I say well you were like explaining it but you didn't get to like what the actual question was but I feel like I know what it is going to be
[01:20:01] but I just want to make sure well I guess there's one because I mean you're kind of a different generation than me but it's like what are you looking for in a girl and does does what they do
[01:20:15] matter to you does that make sense yeah well okay so the first thing I want to say is I think it's totally okay for everyone and anyone to have whatever type of relationship or partner they want
[01:20:29] yeah right like I was just having I have a lot of I love Austin for this reason I have like so many good like really masculine guy friends out there like dudes who are like and that it sounds
[01:20:44] like funny to say that but I really like couldn't find that many dudes like that out here in LA and I have like the coolest group of guy friends over in Austin and they're all like just completely
[01:20:56] in their own aura they know what they want they're straightforward about it they're honest they're genuine they have integrity and we like to I have these conversations with them all the
[01:21:06] time um unlike what are you guys looking for and some of them are like I want a housewife I want to be the provider I want to be the protector I want a cheerleader like there's
[01:21:18] half the group that wants that yeah and they're like I want a girl that also wants me to be the the provider like she wants to look at me and know that when shicket is getting tough like
[01:21:30] I'm gonna find the problem the solution right yeah but then the other half the group also says the opposite like I I want a girl who's like badass right maybe she doesn't have to be making
[01:21:41] as much money as me or be as successful as me but I want a girl who's really ambitious and really passionate about something because I just don't see I don't see myself like wanting to
[01:21:51] like do everything myself you know what I mean yeah and um and it's just really interesting having those kinds of conversations with like other guys and and being able to like see their
[01:22:02] points of view and everything um for me I think my I mean I kind of said it already like I oh you that you wouldn't be threatened by someone who is making more than you I think it's like
[01:22:16] would you would you be totally cool with a girl who's like who literally imagine a 22 maybe even 25 27 however who who tells you like hey like I'm looking for a provider and I'm not trying to
[01:22:34] like work a lot and also no that would piss me off I think okay yeah I think uh and that's totally fine for anyone because there's guys that want that this is this is what I love that I feel
[01:22:46] like I already got this vibe from you because I'm this way yeah I don't judge the way other people live and it pisses me off that everyone thinks that other people need to live like them
[01:22:57] yeah and pisses me off even if they're agreeing with you like I will make points online talk about this kind of stuff and someone in the comments will be like yeah I fully agree I hate it when
[01:23:08] you know someone does this this and they'll be like why like why why do you have to not like it how somebody I just don't feel like there's enough time to worry about what other
[01:23:17] people are doing yeah like and this is even goes back to like controversial stuff like people will comment on my videos and content all the time do you like this type of person right this is so
[01:23:28] off topic but I think it's important like the other day this person commented like are trans people valid and then another person commented like do you support LGBTQ and I made
[01:23:37] a video response and I said why do you care yes I said the answer is yes I support everyone right like I don't give a shit what you're doing like I want everyone to be happy but why do you care
[01:23:47] like why did you just waste a couple minutes of your day looking for my answer you know what I mean yeah that's why I have topic but I it's no it's so what you were saying like I think everyone can
[01:23:58] have their own interests I think everyone should have their own interests and we will never live in a world we shouldn't live in a world where everyone feels the same way about something because then nothing gets done you need to have like challenging a thousand percent and one
[01:24:09] thing and I think I brought this up earlier and I said I wanted to talk about it was okay I think people are way too obsessed with politics and the internet draws people in and the reason
[01:24:21] they're so obsessed with it is because people deeply deeply need to feel a sense of belonging and when they don't have one they need to choose a political party to align with and then they
[01:24:32] feel like they are friends with the people in the comment section that are fighting for the same thing as they are it's so fucking crazy you said that because I have a video saved in my drafts
[01:24:42] right now that I didn't want to post because it's like really pushing the line of like getting me a lot of hate yeah but um I'll just say it on here I I fully agree with you
[01:24:53] and I think these days people in the streets when they're holding up a sign for whatever cause it is it's less about them actually caring about the cause and more about them like needing to feel a part of something because when you're in your dark little like apartment
[01:25:10] and you don't have a job and you have nothing going on um and you're just like scrolling the internet all day and then you hear all these people like chanting outside that gives you a reason to
[01:25:18] go feel a part of something and feel important and I'm not saying that a lot of these causes like all these causes are justified there's horrible and the thing is like there's horrible
[01:25:26] stuff happening all over the world all the time don't go protest at UCLA babe uh don't go protest I don't protest and I'm not political at all um but I think there's always stuff that's
[01:25:37] happening that's bad and people pick and choose which ones they want to support yeah selfishly because they want to feel a part of something you know what I mean like if you really cared about
[01:25:49] people dying why do you not care about the 800 million people starving in Africa or the you know two million Uyghurs in China that are just like but you only care about Palestinians well I'm not even talking like specifically about Palestinians but I'm saying like yeah
[01:26:02] anyone right any type of by the way by the way we're both Jewish I actually deeply care yeah about like I don't I don't like anything that's going on there I don't like anything about
[01:26:15] no one wants people no one wants people dying and and that's that's the part that pisses me off when I look at the comment section it's like this isn't some kind of team sport where it's
[01:26:22] like our side versus your like the war should end innocent civilians shouldn't have their lives shouldn't have to be threatened but I mean no I did definitely think of that because I think
[01:26:34] that's kind of what I was touching on but I just like even when you bring that up people get mad and the other day this girl I was at a like little um like event and she was like do you not
[01:26:43] feel horrible that people in Gaza are starving I said do you not feel horrible about the 800 million people starving in Africa every day and she was like didn't know what to say right
[01:26:54] because I my point was valid there's a there by the way there's a million things to be to feel horrible about yeah and you and if you really wanted to feel horrible about other people
[01:27:02] not being in your shoes like you will feel horrible all day long every day right because there's the world is too big and there's too much evil right um but that huge tangent I mean
[01:27:12] back to you have you have you ever before we go back have you ever been to a protest no okay so I have yeah I've been to women's march I've been to protests for Iran Israel and
[01:27:31] I'll say this a lot of times weird comparison but it feels like a concert vibe and except except the only difference is over here everyone feels like they're on this and on the protest everyone
[01:27:50] feels like they're on the same side of something so that's what unifies them but I actually think people should start going to more concerts because at a concert you don't know who's left ring
[01:28:03] what left wing right wing this side that side you're unified by the music and that's so powerful like for sure the vibe at a concert or music festival or whatever like that's that's so much
[01:28:17] healthier yeah I fully agree I wonder if someone's gonna clip that and take out like all the wrong pieces and then throw it in a compilation together and try and cancel us but I think um
[01:28:26] I mean yeah I people always ask me what side are you on are you political whatever and I'm not political and the reason that I'm not political is I think I think your vote does matter and
[01:28:36] I think if you believe in something you should for sure fight for it yeah fight for it but me personally I know that I can get a lot more done if I just focus on becoming something bigger than
[01:28:48] myself and then I can make change down the line I saw your posts on anti-Semitism yeah which I really liked yeah and you're like I'm not gonna put energy into that and like fighting this person
[01:28:59] and and whatever and I always think um as as a Jewish woman I always think to myself like I don't just want my Judaism to unify me with other Jews I want other people to feel welcome
[01:29:19] into our culture and our traditions and see how beautiful it is so I'm always going to speak to people even if they are on the other side with empathy and understanding and even if I talk to
[01:29:31] someone who's pro-Palestine I completely empathize with everything that they're saying I never fight with them I'm so glad you said that and this is also a little controversial and I think I made
[01:29:41] a video on this but two things number one I'm I'm Jewish right I'm only half Jewish but I identify as Jewish I wear the chain I'm super proud of it like I had family members that
[01:29:54] were like pretty much every one of my family like got like murdered in the Holocaust right except for a couple that escaped and then they you know restarted the family right which side is Jewish
[01:30:03] again my dad's okay so apparently to some people that's not but I look at it as like okay well my family was killed in the Holocaust so like does that not count right it counts it counts you
[01:30:12] know um anyway I'm super proud of being Jewish but I always try and see both sides and there are a group of Jews who I've seen videos of this who genuinely believe that they are like
[01:30:29] better than everybody else and they and that's fine if you want to think that if you want to be proud of something but they will make a point to vocalize it right where have
[01:30:38] you seen this I've seen I've seen videos of like super Hasidic Jews saying like yeah we are like interviewed on the street like do you think you're better than other people like yes like 100%
[01:30:47] like that we are chosen like blah blah that is what creates conflict like it doesn't represent most Jews yeah exactly I think I think most and so I have like a interesting theory but I think
[01:30:59] the reason that a lot of people hate Jews is because in general Jews are very intelligent but you know you mentioned this when I first came in here I'm tall and I'm you know somewhat
[01:31:09] like bigger of a person which is pretty rare for Jews most Jews are small and skinny and yet they're very intelligent and I think you think back on like the nerdy kids in middle
[01:31:22] school or high school that got bullied how did that dynamic look it was the big bad muscular guy who usually wasn't that intelligent beating up on the weaker little kid who was usually really smart right yeah and it's because the bigger guy feels insecure feels essentially like
[01:31:43] afraid that the little guy is better than him right that's why in my mind when I think of like the dynamic between bullies and like the victim in the in the guy that's bullying that is what
[01:31:53] causes that right it's usually this bigger stronger guy and then skinnier weaker physically but more intelligent guy which is the nerd that's getting bullied and I think about Jews and how Jews have been getting bullied all through human history and I think that is like a perfect
[01:32:09] representation of why that's happening and it's because you know there's like these tiny little skinny like non-threatening Jewish people yeah that are very intelligent and they make it a point
[01:32:21] to say like we're better than you and that pisses off a lot of other people and that creates that animosity that jealousy that envy and I think as an entire group of people if Jews would work on
[01:32:33] becoming extremely well-rounded you no longer become the person that's envied and more respected right but well-rounded how does this makes so this is it's this is I'm trying to explain it in the
[01:32:46] best way if you're if I'm right here and there's this like tiny little weak skinny Jewish guy over there acting like he's better than everybody else that's gonna piss you off right why does
[01:32:58] this guy think he's like the shit right I could beat his ass right that's what most guys are gonna think but if this Jewish guy over there is very fit and very has a lot of integrity and is very well
[01:33:13] does that make sense well-rounded yeah right maybe even knows how to fight humble it's no longer a feeling of animosity jealousy envy it's a feeling of respect and so that I think as an
[01:33:25] entire group of people if Jews would work on not just the books and work on becoming like badass in all areas of their life they could be extreme leaders in society and not just looked at as like
[01:33:40] the evil powers behind the scenes you know what I mean oh yeah not to get like into the end of that whole world but yeah that's my like psychological understanding of why a lot of people
[01:33:49] hate Jews it's because typically Jews are like physically not threatening but they carry a lot of power yeah that's interesting and if they would work on becoming more well-rounded maybe there's a better word for that then it would you know steer away from jealousy and envy and
[01:34:03] more towards respect yeah no I totally get that does that make sense it does make it I don't know if I explain that the right way I definitely think this will trigger people it will for sure
[01:34:12] but I genuinely believe this and maybe I'm wrong but I genuinely believe it you know I think back to when I was bullied because I was the tiny little skinny guy for a long time who was a
[01:34:23] smart ass who was a know-it-all what were you like in high school high school different but in middle school I was tiny little skinny know-it-all talked way too much brat where'd you grow up
[01:34:37] Napa Napa Valley oh wow okay yeah and I got bullied and I know that I pissed the fuck out of a lot of people because they were like who the fuck does this guy think he is right yeah talking like
[01:34:48] that then things kind of changed and I started working out a lot started playing all the sports and in high school it kind of switched and I was like you know I don't want to like
[01:34:59] to my horn or whatever but I was like very well respected at my high school and same with in college I was like the president everything and at that point I had respect from my peers
[01:35:09] but I could see it from the different the different lens because now I would see the tiny little skinny nerdy kid who's weak and not physically threatening yeah you know talking a big
[01:35:21] game and it would kind of piss me off like dude I could beat your ass bro shut up right you're talking like that so I was able to see from both both perspectives on like why people get angry
[01:35:30] at others um I don't know once again I don't know if I'm explaining it the right way but it makes so much sense in my mind yeah yeah yeah I have there's there's things like that I
[01:35:40] think about yeah maybe I just yeah for too long what was the original question you asked me is about girls it was about girls yeah it was what before we went off on oh all the way oh like
[01:35:51] about like working girls or no you said um oh you said what do you look for in a girl yeah what do you look for okay back to this question I am I look for someone who's ambitious in some sense
[01:36:04] okay right doesn't even have to be like in business or money but just like really passionate about something maybe they're really passionate about art or psychology or fitness maybe they're like an athlete of some sorts I think as long as like two people are growing on the same
[01:36:24] towards in the same angle then you can work together but if like some girl to me we talked about this earlier it's just like really physically attractive and then I'm always always always
[01:36:36] trying to get better and become a better person right and every area of my life I think you quickly grow apart but if you're both like growing together even if one is growing a lot faster than the other
[01:36:45] one then at least you're growing together I think that's what creates like a very good dynamic right because you're parallel yeah um so yeah I mean obviously like I want someone that's attractive
[01:36:56] you've said that also like very nice I think kindness is super important and then like family values integrity and ambition is family values like what they spend time with their family
[01:37:09] like family comes first always you know okay like that's for me like that's why I'm working so hard right now is because I want to be the dad that has once again six kids and I'm pulling up to every
[01:37:21] game taking my little fucking and taking Elliot Jr. to like to the meeting I have like this image in my head of me taking like my kid to like a big meeting okay and some some like business exact
[01:37:34] corporate guy coming in saying like do we really need him here I'm like yes he needs to be here for this but the thing is you're not oh the baby yeah my kid but also he's not going to say that to you
[01:37:44] because you're not going to be working for anyone no but I have like this little like dream scenario in my head of like someone coming in like me about to do a deal with someone right big deal
[01:37:53] lots of money on the table and they're like I don't really feel comfortable with like doing this like with your with your kid here and I'm like all right well I don't feel comfortable like doing
[01:38:02] this with you at all the door is right there right I want to because I had because I grew up one of my best friends in high school his dad to me was like the coolest guy ever super successful
[01:38:13] entrepreneur they're probably billionaires tons of kids they're the most insane property hung out with his kids more than my parents hung out with me and my parents always talked to oh we don't have like we don't have that much time and I'm like this guy owns like 30 businesses
[01:38:26] it was nuts yeah yeah they had jets and islands and yeah plural and he still made the most amount of time for his kids and I just looked at that as like that is where I need to be yeah so does
[01:38:36] that guy have a son my age no I'm just he's sick though um no unfortunately not so it's so funny that you mentioned this like scenario fantasy in your head because I notice and people are
[01:38:57] becoming a little more open about it that a lot of times when like we're in relationships friendships whatever a lot of a lot of what we're experiencing with other people is projections and fantasies
[01:39:12] in our own mind it's like when you like someone and you start imagining scenarios with them because you like them so much and your brain registered as like oh no this is how it is between us they
[01:39:24] could literally not talk to you for a week but because you like them so much you're just fantasizing that that's how it is and you're liking that fake scenario more and more and you're not really
[01:39:34] seeing them yeah for what they are what percentage of of your thoughts do you think are rooted in fantasy versus reality that's a great question um I mean I love I love talking about this concept of the future because that's where like this whole
[01:39:53] fantasy thing comes from right and you love the future not the past exactly right I love this concept of the future because it it doesn't exist um but I do think like you can
[01:40:07] make it happen right you can right there's no reason it can't so like if I think at least in terms of creating your ideal future like whatever you think will happen um and it and it always does
[01:40:22] like whether it's me building my business or in the in my career with social media whatever I literally have like a roadmap of like everything that's going to happen right details will
[01:40:30] change yeah but I like you know where you're going I know where I'm going and like this is going to happen and there's no doubt in my mind like it's like I can see the future like this is
[01:40:37] going to happen wait so where what is the what does that vision look like for you the vision for me yeah all right the vision for me is I want to be I want to keep growing all of my social
[01:40:51] platforms and I want to be like um I want to be a combination of a guy like Alex from mosey with a guy like Jake Paul right I want to take the really interesting fascinating side of
[01:41:04] business being a young entrepreneur and combine it with like the entertainment of a guy like Jake Paul and I just want to document like everything about my life I'm about to hire this videographer to
[01:41:16] come live with me and just record everything because um and maybe this will sound like cocky but I think my life is really interesting right and I think it's like so fun I think your life is
[01:41:28] interesting I love it like I love I love waking up every day like I hate sleeping and I just I want to record all of it and put it out there and like I don't care what anybody thinks I just
[01:41:38] want to record it because it's fun and hopefully it um like I want to just inspire like a lot of next generation entrepreneurs because I think entrepreneurs are the most important members of society I think this is this is controversial probably but I think entrepreneurs are more
[01:41:54] important than doctors scientists anyone because they drive innovation and that's what moves society forward and everything else is important too but I think you know that's why America has created the most um important uh inventions in human history over and over and over I was hoping that
[01:42:14] would be a bar because I'm imagining you this being clipped and like an American flag waving over you I think I think capitalism in America has led to um the most important series of inventions
[01:42:28] being created ever and they just keep on happening it's always coming from America like sure every once in a while something comes from somewhere else but that's because like entrepreneurs here in America right and it's been that way since this country was founded
[01:42:40] so if I can inspire tons of people to go and start their own businesses then I look at that as like damn I did my part even if it's impacting 10 people 100 people a million people one day maybe
[01:42:53] but that's what I want to go do and that's what I'm going to do is like just keep on building these businesses document it all have on you know go on podcasts like this have really interesting people like yourself other entrepreneurs onto my podcast share their stories
[01:43:08] um and in my head it's like this is already like gonna happen I just have to go like put the pieces of the puzzle there you're doing it I already see that for you I was
[01:43:19] at I was speaking at a conference that Alex Hormozzi was speaking at and I actually interviewed his wife Layla she's a stud by the way she's a bad ass yeah she is a lot of hate unfortunately
[01:43:32] it sucks but you know what the way she handles it is so like I remember she got a nose job and everyone's like he looks so different what happened and she's like I got a nose job guys
[01:43:40] like she just says whatever the thing is she doesn't care I was surprised she made a video about how like you know people comment on her voice or whatever I saw a video you're talking about yeah yeah
[01:43:51] and and just her relationship with Alex and how he like helps her deal with that I think the I think their relationship because they're so they have so much exposure especially with young people is actually affecting the way a lot of people see relationships because
[01:44:11] even when I was at that conference I'll never forget um he said he said you know a lot of guys come to me and they tell me I just want a wife who cooks and cleans and does laundry
[01:44:26] and to them I say you're looking at a 45 000 a year employee if that's if that's if that's the uh if that's what you're looking for in the person that you're gonna spend the rest of your
[01:44:40] life with I have news for you and I was just like wow I had never seen a guy break it down like that and just the way that they are with each other and I mean I've asked him questions on like
[01:44:55] certain like interviews or whatever on lives and he even with the with because they started as like business partners friends there was no romance in the beginning and I could never have imagined a relationship like I love the feeling of excitement I love
[01:45:10] it when like I love if like a guy texts me and I'm like yes like I feel I'm like oh my god you need to feel that way I agree with you I think in my I was talking with my best friend
[01:45:19] about this if you're not feeling that at the beginning I don't think it's gonna work out but here but here's the thing yeah but here that was the thing that I thought to myself was like
[01:45:28] okay I used to hate this concept of like like oh he'll grow on you I hated that yeah I hated that yeah but I think and I don't think it'll happen all the time like if you're if you're
[01:45:42] with someone and you can never see them growing on you and you're just not attracted if you don't even want to be friends with them drop it but sometimes like I'm sorry but people who are
[01:45:53] best friends make the best couples and then you need to see like how the sex life is and all that stuff but it's just like that needs to be the foundation anyway and someone asked Alex about
[01:46:03] it about their relationship starting that way because she didn't feel that way towards him either did she say she's just interested by him like oh what a cool interesting guy yeah like they just like talking to each other and they weren't they both weren't super into it but
[01:46:17] but but he was like look I've been in relationships that like were based on lust and all these feelings and he's like there's a lot of relationships that are that are out there that started like that
[01:46:29] now and he's like let's see where they end up in 10 years and where me and Layla end up in 10 years and I was just like I mean facts honestly like when you look at the statistics of what
[01:46:40] creates longevity and relationships in marriage it's never like he was hot he excited me the sex was popping it was never it's never those yeah you need that too though no you need that too I will
[01:46:51] say that I will say that um you do need that too but those aren't like the main things and so I guess what I'm saying is back to your thing where it's like you need to consider all the
[01:47:04] categories and make sure the person is well rounded and yeah but so here's the thing though um I met this girl should I even talk about this I met this girl please talk about it I met this
[01:47:17] girl out here in LA last summer and she came and visited me in Austin right when I moved and on our we went on a day and it was so interesting like we were like talking about
[01:47:33] business and shit like business ambition like all that kind of the things I like to talk about not like just like dumb what's your favorite movie whatever like you know what I mean yeah
[01:47:43] that business is just like what I find interesting so we were talking about that and I was like this really cool right really cool right and then she came to visit me in Austin because
[01:47:53] I moved shortly after and like the everything was there about this girl except the spark and oh man at the end of this at the end of the weekend you know we had like hooked up a
[01:48:09] couple times at the end of the weekend um she's like talking about like crazy long future ahead right like kids and all this shit right we're meant for each other how old was she my age okay
[01:48:21] yeah um but she was very mature and she was talking about like you know the future right getting really serious and I had to stop it and I was like I could have just like waited till she went home
[01:48:34] and broke it off you know but I told her like straight to her face I was like hey I need to tell you something I was like if I were to make a checklist of every this is what I said word
[01:48:44] for word I said if I were to make a checklist of every single thing I was looking for in a in a girlfriend or a wife or in a partner in a life partner right mother of my kids
[01:48:55] you check every single box but then I said but attraction is not a checklist and you're also very like pretty but for some reason I I don't know I don't feel that spark and
[01:49:13] and I totally said this like with the like open possibility that I could get like slapped but I really wanted to be like extremely honest with her yeah and I was expecting like a I don't
[01:49:22] know what I was expecting to be honest but she like kind of like sat there for a second she was like I have so much respect for you for telling like obviously I'm upset I have respect I have respect
[01:49:30] for you for saying it too I just I felt like it was better in person and then not leaving her like confused like what happened or whatever I literally said like every you are so cool in
[01:49:38] so many ways but for some reason I'm not feeling that spark and it seems like you are and so I'm really sorry but like you'll probably find your person in a couple of months hopefully right
[01:49:49] and then you're gonna be like I'm glad this didn't go anywhere yeah wow so but on that note though I'm like all of those the parts of the Alex and the Leila dynamic were there but the spark was
[01:50:01] missing and I just knew right then and they're like that's not just something you can like create or something that'll come after time like this just wasn't like gonna happen
[01:50:08] you know yeah but I like that you said that and I know I know 45 year olds that could take pointers from you because I know a lot of guys in that situation they would have kept I don't know if
[01:50:22] you were hooking up with her like that but they would have just ran with that and they would the fact that you know she liked you should they would have just been like okay great now I have
[01:50:31] someone who will sleep with me whenever I want that's what they think yeah yeah a lot of people do that yeah most people do that yeah because they want they want they love having the idea of
[01:50:39] someone still hanging around for them of course and that you have access to whenever you want but I back a plan whatever yeah I admire that you didn't do that and at such a young age like
[01:50:49] that's just I don't know it's interesting there's not that many girls my age that I um that I uh it's gonna sound so horrible but like find that interesting I think I might make sense
[01:51:01] you're a little bit above them I think I also am probably a little intimidating to them I've had I've heard girls say that I think I think I come off that way yeah I come off that way too
[01:51:09] and that makes you not not for everyone I think that's a good thing though right it's maybe maybe like then that right person's like oh this is a challenge or whatever oh a thousand percent
[01:51:20] you're more focused in areas that guys are lacking in and so that's like intimidating you know what I mean like what areas like like profession professionally right like I think in
[01:51:34] general guys are once again going back to this thing earlier guys want to feel like they are the ones that are further ahead and so if you are more successful more mature whether it's emotionally
[01:51:47] or in the workplace than some guy his he might say like oh you come off masculine because you're kind of like little brewing him in a way interesting which isn't a bad thing
[01:51:59] you know what I mean like that's a good thing and I think you're right and like the right type of guy does find that very attractive because it is
